I don’t think you’re stupid, so you probably don’t know the story. State Farm made one commercial. It had a guy named Jake talking to a customer a night. Hugely successful commercial. The next time we see Jake, it’s a different actor. The hit commercial was trashed because guy was white. New actor was Sq apped based strictly on his skin color.

J P Morgan Chase came near losing me when they made all of their white employees attend training about what shitheads they were. Then they debanked someone, and that put me over the edge.

I still bank with them because their Private Banking services are hard to match, but I pulled our investment accounts, which are worth about 1,000 times what our banking is worth.

Our heretofore banker called me twice trying to talk me out of leaving. When it became clear I was not relenting he tried one last salvo. He said, “I looked at the website of the company you are going with, and they are seven white guys, all within five years of each other. There is no diversity there. You know that investment decisions are better made by diverse teams.” I said, “Thank you very much, bye.”

I regret i didn’t say “Bye Felicia”.

Normally I’d agree, but the new Jake is 100 times better. That guy is a superstar talent with a magnetic screen presence. I agree, though, that the original commercial was great.

Had AT&T for years and during the aftermath from Hurricane Ida, the service just completely crapped out for about 2 weeks. A tree had fell across my dead end street and a power pole fell across my driveway, completely trapping us in. Only way we could communicate with the outside world to let family know our situation and that we were fine is using my work IPad for internet and to make calls, which was connected to Verizon.
We dropped AT&T shortly after and switched to Verizon.

Business that think I serve them instead of serving me the customer.

I don’t like dealing with woke companies.

Stanley tools including Mac tools, Dewalt, etc.

I asked the mac tool salesman how many trannies buy your tools vs how many straight or gay people that just want a good tool for a fair price no BS!!

Just like banks I deal with local credit unions and banks. Don’t like dealing with larger woke banks.

What happened to companies focusing on the quality of their product or service vs being woke?

I can't think of a specific business but I haven't spent a single cent anywhere in the city of New Orleans since the first monument came down. How did that work out for them? That place is a cesspool.
