re: How convinced are you that "The Great Reset" is real

You realize who you sound like, right?
There are definitely powerful people out there who hope to enact a great reset.
But that in and of itself doesn't mean various threats being advertised aren't real.
Some are, some aren't.
Climate change, for example, while real is not an existential crisis for humans. There is no scientific data that points to this. The threat has been purposely exaggerated.
ETA Claims that the food supply would be impacted are unfounded. Developed countries could, largely, protect their populace from flooding. Hell, fewer people today than ever before are dying from natural disasters. These disasters are just more expensive because we've built more expensive shite in disaster-prone areas. And, at the end of the day, the strategies put forth by most countries would do NOTHING to affect the climate. They sure would be effective agents of social and economic change, though... for the worse

Wake up, they've been spoon feeding the new normal since March. I'll hang up and listen

this is conspiracy theory 101
It's not a frickin' conspiracy theory, professor. It's a phenomenon that's being openly celebrated by people, but also scares the crap out of a lot of other people.
Was it pre-planned at Bohemian Grove or a meeting of the Bildeburg Group? Probably not, but does it matter? As Saul Alinsky said, "never let a good crisis go to waste."

And now Amazon with their online pharmacy, coincidence? I think not!

You admitted to not knowing what “the great reset” was despite a significant number of world leaders talking about it. That’s not being smarter than a conspiracy theorist that’s being ignorant to events. Just because covid wasn’t an intentional thing doesn’t mean that world leaders aren’t talking about a reset and universally parroting that phrase. Also yes I know it’s useless to try to expose your ignorance ironically due to your lack of self awareness

Ok Alex....I’ve got some DNA force vitamins or mustard seed I want to sell you to help you fend off the chi comms. Everything will return to normal once the country is vaccinated. There are no black helicopters

Oh it is certainly real. The top people of the World Economic Forum and the chief economist at the IMF are pushing it hard. Canada's PM said the quiet part out loud last week and said now is the perfect time to implement the ideas during the pandemic. I know people will say "well, it's just Trudeau, he's really out there". But he is the leader of a big time player on the global stage. It would be different if it were the PM of Costa Rica or something.
Now, we all know the "progressive" (I hate that term because these central and south american governments hid socialism behind it and that's what is happening here now) wing of the Democratic Party is 100% trying to make a play for power against the more moderate wing of the party right now. If this happens we will move towards something like the great reset sooner than later. How much violence and chaos are those in power willing to stomach to implement those policies remains to be seen. But there will be chaos. In North America anyway. I'm not so sure that the population of most European nations will resist it. They love turning over every bit of power to their governments over there.
It's going to be ugly. Regardless of what happens in the presidential election, "progressives" and their policies were widely rebuked at the polls this time around. We may not agree on who should be president but the overwhelming majority agree that the radical leftist policies are not what we want. How far will they go to push those policies on an unwilling populace will decide how ugly it all gets in the end.

So what’s your take on why it’s not being said lately?
Posted on 11/18/20 at 9:19 am to Logician

I got my answer
it started on Twitter and now all the "free thinkers" latched onto it and its spreading like wildfire

not even remotely true
a "politard" is simply someone who views everything through the lens of politics
it could be a Trumpian, prog filth, libertarian, etc

Based on what I've seen, it started at the World Economic Forum.
