No. Jackson is BR’s not too distant future.

Take back the neighborhoods with a strong police presence. There's a segment that wants to defund the police, but that's not working. And there needs to be consequences. Lenient judges only add to the problem. The police and victims of crime will tell you the same people commit multiple.crimes.
Also, neighborhood schools.
I don't know how to pay for it, but stop the blight.

Sweeping Broome out of office is Step 1. I don't know if the other Dem running is any better but I don't see how he could be worse.

The EBR DA’s office could more funding. They could do more good with it than the parks and libraries right now. Not sure what options there are to do it though.

Properly staff the random, roving, sniper squad. stacking a few criminals will incentivize the rest to just stay home and BBQ instead of going out wilding.

NBR is a lost cause and just acknowledge that. Focus mainly on garden district and mid city.
More police patrol in that area
No “affordable housing”
Cleanup blight
Community schools.

Start holding criminals accountable for their sociopathic behavior. Address the media's bias favoring the lowest of the low members of our society. Call out bad behavior for what it is, and not making excuses for it.
Support our police. Let them clean up the streets. Give me the authority and I'd fix it within a year.

You can't fix liberal cities

60% of BREC funding is up for renewal. Vote no.

If you could somehow convince fathers to raise their children while also having less of them, and convince them that a decent job is a better idea than petty crime, you’d have most of BR’s problems fixed in one generation while expanding the tax base instead of spending money on a problem that can’t be fixed with money.
But what do I know? I haven’t been given hundreds of thousands of tax money to study this for a year and still come up with no solution, making it a money laundering scheme.

Sure thing, buddy. If this was the case then you’d be running for office. I’m glad you have it all figured out.

Not sure what anyone can expect. Louisiana is a poor arse state and Baton Rouge gives no reason for people to stay outside of family. Entry level jobs with bare minimum salaries, way to little middle management/growth opportunities. So anyone decent leaves, leaving you with the worst. And they can’t leave because they are too poor. Politicians try their hardest to prevent companies from wanting to come to BR. It not just real punishment to crimes, everything is wrong with the city top down. Which sucks because I do sometimes miss the hell out of BR.
