re: How big of a hit did Bud Light take on the new campaign?

Likely none.

Whatever they lost they'll recoup over time probably.
I can tell you one thing though
they gained zero new customers. trans and progs turn their nose up at bud light. you can be an 'ally' all day, but that won't make them buy your products.
See: Disney's woke arse movies failing over and over. Strange world, Lightyear, trying to capture demographics that don't watch kids movies.
So while they won't go broke, they lost money attempting to capture a market share that was never gonna buy their shite in the first place.

Somewhere around Dixie Chicks level of outrage.

The beer reps and deliver guys I talked to are about to jump ship due to the brutal abuse and jokes that are getting thrown at them.

Then some enterprising individual will develop a cheap beer to sell to those rednecks.
It’s like you people have never heard of capitalism.

They will probably sell more because people will move on and have to restock all their beer they threw away on Tiki's Tok.

I can't figure out why... It's not like their target audience HAS NEVER BOUGHT (AND DOESN'T DRINK) BEER BEFORE on top of your current (pronounced: EX) clientele being 99.9% straight white males.

I only drink Bud Light when it's the only beer in the cooler at some kid's birthday party. As much as I'd like to boycott it, the next time I'm watching the brats in the bounce house and chatting with the soccer moms, I'm still drinking the Bud Light if it's all they got.

These people think Twitter is real life and base their marketing on that. They're the quintessential bubble-dwellers who convince executives who have absolutely no stake or experience in the companies they preside over.

You’ll be able to pick up cases of bud light vv cheap at estate sales in the months to come.

Don’t know, don’t care. I haven’t bought that foreign owned company’s swill in 25 years. Too many local and small breweries available to drink that.

It was not a campaign….. Bud Light made a custom can and sent it to the person….that’s not an ad campaign…. In 3 months very few people will remember this

A friend of mine who owns a Daquiri shop told him that Thursday his bartender told him that anyone who orders bud light she was going to tell them they were out. He told her that shite is already paid for and she serves them whatever makes them happy.
He said as for as he could tell, his regular who drink it didn't give a shite... That some of them probably had no idea about the whole trans thing.

I wouldn't know anything about it if not for this board. I don't watch cable news and nobody I know IRL is talking about it.

People wildly underestimate the reach of their distribution. A bunch of guys stop buying 12 packs because they are big mad, and it doesn’t even make a blip. Those same guys are still going to buy a bud light the next time they are at a bar/ball game/event when it’s all they have.
