Most on st charles are owned by a slum lord in New Jersey.
They are so bad it's pathetic. Beautiful old homes torn to shite and worse on the inside than most section 8 homes.
She owns 56 multi units in nola. Never met her but her checks clear.

Lived in a house on Lee drive and Orchid. House wasn’t terrible just old but with four dudes living there and multiple people always coming over, it was dirty as shite. All of us had staph infections at the same time??. Found a couch at goodwill that was this light tan suede material and was disgusting but awesome. We called it the porno couch. Lots of great memories at that place.

South Bend is a shithole once you get about a half a mile or a mile from campus, and a lot of the student housing that undergrads, especially men, live in is south of campus 1 to 2 miles.
My senior year house:
- Had two dealers squatting in the house next to ours for first semester
- Lots of roommates were robbed/mugged walking home from bars
- Robbed over Christmas break
- Whole house got held up at gunpoint on the back porch by seven locals
- Right down the street from a student dive that got shot up in a drive by (severely wounded two students)
- House itself was kinda a POS but not that bad - we did $2,000 of damage in a St. Patrick’s Day party

My buddy had a friend who owned some rental properties in Clinton, MS. He had this 2bd duplex and 4 of us decided it was better than living in the dorms. I think our rent was $150 TOTAL.
Had a black lady with 6 kids living in the other side, and she called the cops on us at all hours of the day and night. Possibly the shittiest place I’ve ever lived, but man was it a good time. The campus dorms were as strict as they could be, so everyone wanted to come over to drink and party.
Enlightened a lot of good Christian girls in that shithole.

North Stadium dorm-no air conditioning and plaster fell from the ceiling on game day.
Hodges Hall-no air conditioning, but had a real bar run by the school in the basement of the adjoining freshman dorm.
4plex on GSRI south of Gardere behind Rainbow market. Nice safe place with mostly law and vet students. Damn, has that place changed!

I lived in Power dorm my freshman year at LSU, 1984. That place was horrible. It was infested with cockroaches.

My rent "house" was like one of those little things behind a normal house. My address had 1/2 in it

This was one house:
Rat or squirrel died in the wall behind the fridge. Landlord wouldn't let us rip the sheet rock off and get it out. We lived with that smell for maybe three weeks, and all of our clothes stunk to high hell. It was so bad, you could smell it outside.
Septic pipe broke going to the tank. Sewage was just draining into the yard. We had parties every week, and people would be standing in raw sewage during the party, and chicks would freak out about their feet getting wet. We told them a spigot was leaking in the yard, and there was a sewage treatment plant down the road that stunk.
Thankfully, part of this was during the dead animal in the wall fiasco, and people wouldn't walk with their poo feet into our house

I lived in Kirby in 95. I was a front desk attendant late at night. Kirby was gross as frick but I let everyone in. I didn’t care because I kept getting bribed with alcohol. Also got busy in the small office they had there a few times.
Greatest experience of my young life.
