You didn't invite them to the orgy and you're calling THEM rude?

Have a lady that cleans my parents house and a few others. She pulls up and honks until someone comes to the door. Never make friends with the help. Nobody will call her out on it because it’s ok in her hood to do that.

I refuse to open my door if anyone knocks and I don’t know who it is beforehand

I’ll let them knock and ring the doorbell 3 separate times and I’m not budging even with a driveway full of my cars. They can get fricked

Had a brother that went through that petulant child attitude for a bit.

He called me one day. I told him, "frick you. Don't call me without dropping by and asking permission to ring my phone." Then I hung up. He got the message.

Depends on if they get the secret knock right on the bathroom stall door.

Don’t hate them, usually turns out to be a good time.

But if you interrupt Sun God Jr’s nap time may god have mercy on you

I don't care if I'm just hanging out at my house, but I get aggravated if I have plans to leave or something. My in-laws have done this before. I just left when I planned on leaving, regardless.

Because it’s rude.

It’s incredibly rude to drop by without being invited. The “old days” nostalgia doesn’t make it less rude.

Pop-in visits don’t happen here due to the Danes and other barking fricker in my yard. People pull in and turn right the hell around. It’s glorious.

Do southern people still take forever to leave?

I remember that used to be a thing when I was little, talking at the car for what seemed like 30 minutes.

O Idk, maybe just be a decent person with reasonable social skills and explain accordingly?

quote:

What if I’m sick?

Can’t really talk, I’m not feeling well.

quote:

What if I’m napping?

If I’m just dropping by to see what’s up I’m not shaking the house with my knock or ringing the doorbell for eternity. If you were asleep you wouldn’t hear me. If someone knocked or rang the doorbell long enough to wake you up just to chat then yea this is rude.

What if there’s an orgy in my living room?

Wanna join?

Sorry the house is messy, we just had an orgy.

What if I’m about to leave and go somewhere?

Hey, can’t talk, about to head out.

It’s like you people are brainless weirdos who can’t have normal conversations. People aren’t being rude, they’re just being social. That’s how you get to know people.

Everything doesn’t need to be planned to the nth degree. You don’t have to have the maid come by and a cheese board setup before we hangout.

People these days don’t know how to just be normal because we spend so much time on our phones in our own worlds.
