I have a big green Bronco Everglades. Drives well. Got a wench on it and love helping people get out of snow and ice. I drive to a river a couple hours away, fish all day and then sleep in it overnight and fish the next day. It was made to rock climb but I ain't doing that. It is loud inside when on the road.

The mid-90s Geo Metro put out 55 hp

It was also ~1600lbs compared to closer to 3500lbs in the bronco.

I bought one a few years ago for my kids to drive and it’s been a fun little vehicle. Gets decent fuel mileage and it doesn’t feel underpowered with the 3 cyl for what it is. Have about 75k miles on it so far. One thing if note it’s on its third windshield don’t know if it’s the angle or what but that thing seems to be a rock magnet.

The ride in the new Bronco is horrid if it's going to be a daily driver.

How is an under powered car dangerous? This is one of the dumber comments I’ve seen.
BTW, how is that Yugo working out for you?

I see three immediate drawbacks:

1. Ford manufactured them.

2. They still haven't gotten the little turbo eco-boost engines right. Google for reviews. You'll find plenty of problems.

3. It's still new in this platform. If you insist on buying one, at least wait a few years to the vehicle will be less crappy.

Listen to this person.

They're underpowered and unreliable. Unless its a lease I would run from any of it, not that there are really any post Biden era drivetrains that are really worth holding up as being reliable long term.

Until those platforms get figured out or the manufacturers begin offering the older powertrains again now that the regs changed there are no great options particularly given how much they cost now.

Why not test drive?

I drove a 4 cyl jeep that prob has less pickup than these broncos if that's what you are worried about.

To me this car is just a more comfortable jeep.

Oh and they also offer the 2.0L

My 79 year old next door neighbor just got one. That's all I got.

Hope that helps
