Just got one. Like Mick Jagger said about the crime rate in Manhattan, it's "going up, up, up, up, up!"

A few years ago I upped the size of my ac unit and had duct work redone baffles installed and my electricity bill went down over 50%. I have been averaging between 120-150 a month compared to the 250-350 a month during the first 5 years of owning a 1500sf house. All electric heat no gas winter bills were high also before I upgraded the system.

We are in 3200 sqft, two units and our daughter is home from college.

Our total utility bill, electric, gas, water, sewage and trash was 320.00

My electricity was 304, but that was an actual reading. My May bill was 130.00.

They don't always read the meters here and give you a guess. Then when they come read them sometimes you get hammered. But for my gas bill was -2.00 on this bill as they over estimated it in May.

So I hope we settle in around 200.00 for July

Oh yes. I have woken up in the middle of the night to a beeping noise. I go in the kitchen and the refrigerator door is wide open. My stupid fat arse lazy entitled stepson will get up in the night and graze the refrigerator. He then will just walk away and leave the door wide open

I don’t say stuff like this often on here but that shite would end after one occurrence in my house. It makes me mad just reading it.

I use levelized billing so ours doesn't fluctuate too much. Our last one was $150 or so. 2500 sq ft in BR

I'm loving levelized billing right now. My last bill was $112. I live in a 2800 sq ft home with two units. I'm anxious to see how much it goes up on the next bill though. It's hot as shite out there. My air is mostly set on 75 or 76 during the day and 72 at night.

I've had it for years. Makes budgeting easier. Our fluctuates between $150-200 usually.

$144 with Entergy and that includes gas.

During the summer, I'm typically close to $200.

Not complaining as my Cox bill just went up to $180.

My bill is less than it was in winter. About $180 right now in middle of summer in Baton Rouge. First summer in my last house was ridiculous like $450 but it dropped in half when I changed the old ac units. Might want to check those if they are older.

$36. Small one bedroom, hardly home, and I don’t use the AC much

I do levelized billing. It's nice not having surprises.

$346 for last month.

Of course, Entergy installed one of their new meters, so I am certain that it will be balls on accurate.

$178 last month

Been in Houston 3 years & $181 last September was the highest it's ever been.

$113 is my monthly average over the course of a year.
