I can't imagine how frustrating it is. Having to live it over and over in court knowing for that long. That's a lot of tax dollars wasted on these worthless animals. But keep up the good fight and never relent. I'm fine with the tax dollars going towards justice.

Police can be frustratingly incompetent sometimes in investigation. That murder outside my apartment on 7/5/2013. EBRSO was out there on scene from 545 am to about 9am processing the scene. I walk out to my car to go work pizza shift about 1030am and 20 feet from the shooting location and 50 feet from where the victim was found was a shiny knew prybar in the grass.
I got them back out there and they got killer's DNA off it and that's how they put him away.
They had leads about who would have done it but ... WTF detectives. You had ONE JOB.

Often they know who did it or have a good idea. But there's not enough evidence to bring it to trial.
And, most killings are thug vs. thug, and nobody's willing to cooperate.

My uncle had a detective friend tell him that the vast majority of cases only get solved because the perp tells someone what they did.

Going up for Balloon Races or a quiet B&B weekend is fricking amazing. But....
I'd rather get a vasectomy a week for a year than live in Natchez again.
One of my favorite memories of that town was Balloon Races 2007, the night of Flynn to Byrd. I was standing the Beer/Football Tent drunkernshit and watching the game about 50 feet to the side of the band stage.
The band on stage said "Hold the music for a second, Game is on the line".
Soon as Byrd caught that TD, everyone went nuts, we poured out the tent and the band resumed.....
"I remember walkin through the wet grass..." Yep it was BTE was killin it for ~3k fans out there on the bluffs and Byrd was the GOAT that night.

We could very well know each other. When I snooped around I saw I had mutual friend with your ex. And I have lots of friends whose kids got to Cathedral and Trinity. We most likely met at Bowie's, Andrews or God forbid Dimples if you went there semi often.
I was gonna make a joke about banging your wife but knowing your screen name made me realize you wouldn't give a shite even if she was your current wife. Haha.

I LOVED to bring friends out on the town when they visited Natchez ~08-10. We'd go to Andrew's, Bowie's(used to close at 12), Doc's, then Dimples in that order.
It was always a good time to see their drunken faces light up like "What the frick is going on in this little podunk town?" When Dimples was still packed at 5am.
I once had this good gal friend of ours come up from Pville who LOVED the Saloon. But anyhow, one night she met some baws at Dimples about 3 am and few of us went home while she stayed behind.
That girl comes back to our house about 8 am dragggin arse and goes. "Jeezus I ended up in some town called Monterrey with them guys I met."

Sounds like I met that girl who returned at 8. I've brought a many home with me and I ain't picky when fricked up. I woke up next to a big one once and didn't know whether to take her home or get her mounted on my wall. She was a wall hanger! Not gonna use any names because everyone knows everyone in that whole Miss-Lou are.
I've been arrested more than once at those bars or right outside of them.
