You’d be surprised how rarely DNA is even used. When my friend was killed and they attempted to kill me I don’t recall the police looking for DNA. I don’t even think they found a fricking fingerprint and there were multiple suspects in the house. Had it not been for them stealing my cell phone they would have never been found.

And if you think about it.. When someone is "caught", it's because of something stupid they did. I think most murders go unsolved right? If someone admits to murdering someone, they are pleading guilty. A lot has to go right for someone to be charged with murder.

I remember that on here. I can't imagine the hell you have been through but glad you are still here. Hopefully you and the family found a little peace knowing they were caught.

They caught 2 of 5 or possibly more, and we’re still waiting to go back to trial on one of them after a hung jury. April 22nd will be the EIGHTH anniversary of the crime and the Orleans Parish Criminal Justice System still can’t bring this fricker to trial... but let a former NFL player get killed and they’re in court in less than a year.

I had a similar experience with the FBI, because of that, and other screw ups that are public knowledge, I doubt they have the ability to find lost car keys.

They didn’t realize my friend was dead in the bathroom for probably an hour after police arrived and that’s AFTER I threw a fricking fit in the back of the ambulance refusing to leave unless everyone else was ok; they didn’t even look.

The Tiffee's and extended family are well known among game wardens and even had a book written about them and their illegal hunting and fishing shenanigans. I think they had a big "white perch selling" ring or some crazy shite. Apparently big enough for the Feds to treat it like a redneck cartel but instead of selling drugs, they were selling fish. If i remember right, they were making a fortune selling huge amounts of white perch to other states and one game warden went undercover and got in with them and busted them on a bunch of federal offences. Then wrote a book about it. A few got time in Federal Prison for it.

There was a guy in I think Watson just recently that had killed a few landowners who wouldn’t let him run his dogs on their land. My dad actually knew the guy and would see him at the bar pretty often.
