Remember the Monterey kid who killed the collared bear?

There was a thread about a kid from Monterey who killed a collared bear last year or two years ago and then before his trial, got busted again for hunting at night. His name was Duell Moreland and he had been missing since March.
His family found his body on Friday, supposedly dismembered and burned in some area only accessible by boat. The family complained that CPSO didn't do enough to find him and KNOE has covered the story - link below.
Any of you familiar with the situation or have local scoop? Sounds pretty crazy for a small town and a 26 year old kid.

I heard he was burned and drowned and his family (grandpa) found him hanging in a tree. Someone also said that they have a suspect in custody as well. Not sure how much of it is true though.

The bastards above need to realise they are making jokes about someone's son and grandson.
A year ago, a guy I grew up with was murdered in the woods behind the house.
He had a history of keeping poor company.
This reminds me of that. Some dumb kid who screwed up too many times.
You've got jokes about someone being murdered, keep them to yourself or go to the OT.
This place used to be better than that.

Very hard to burn a body. Sounds like the suspect(s) may have tried to burn it to cover it up and the remains were found by animals maybe.

I heard he was in bad with drugs or something. Someone snitched to his grandpa and that is why he went and found him not the cops. They said they didn't have a boat at the time or something.

Grandpa's name is Rufus Tiffee, Jr. The guy arrested is Hart Tiffee.
Is Tiffee a common name in Concordia Parish or are these guys related?
