Cypress. We lost it at around 11:30 Sunday and got it back at 3 yesterday. Trying to do our part and keeping thermostat at 61 but if I’m being honest it seems like the furnaces are running the same frequency and length that they would at our regular temp setting

All of Baytown is currently being heated by the Exxon flares. Every flare they have looks to be at max. Libs would shite if they drove by.
This is awesome. Like is it actually working?

My colleagues in Houston have no electricity still.

I threw in the damm towel.
Pool equipment cracked
Water running out of light fixtures.
41 degrees inside the house.
Shut off the electricity, water, and gas. Took the guns and her jewelry and left. I guess we will be remodeling.
Ow well time to drink.

We lost it for 36 hours. Came back on this afternoon. Hoping it stays on.

Damn Fred, that sucks. Mother nature sure is pissed off.

It’s been since 2am here in the Tanglewood area.
The posts from Centerpoint about rolling blackouts is obviously BS. They advised that people who lost power should expect it out for the “rest of the day” but never clarified what that meant.
I still fricking don’t. Don’t have water anymore either. At least it’s not as cold tonight as was last night. That shite was miserable.

We finally called it this morning after a miserably cold night and made the trip to my parents in Montgomery County. 45N was ok but there are some extreme dumbasses out there driving way too fast over the ice and cutting infront of people. Heading west on 105 was like driving in fricking Utah or something. Glad they put in that whole house generator last year.. worth the worry of driving. Babies are warm.

Negative in Katy. Up to 36 hours with no power, had a pipe burst. This is miserable.

You would think a cat 5 hurricane just hit Houston. Lines for gas are down the street.

Went 36 hours without, they cut ours on for 3 hours then back off...

From a friend who lives in San Antonio
————-yikes———I think it is legit.....?????
From CPS Energy in San Antonio: The State has issued critical electric load warning. Grid is about to fail. Prepare! Water will go out as well so fill tubs etc as needed.
At this time CPS Energy is no longer able to protect even critical infrastructure, such as hospitals, from some level of brownouts. Please help communicate to your neighbors:
CRITICAL NEED FOR IMMEDIATE LOAD REDUCTION -
High probability ALL customers will experience outages
ERCOT is at a critical stage and in jeopardy of losing the grid.
* Rotating outages will be increasing in both length and frequency.
* Critical circuits will now experience outages. * There is a very high probability that all customers including critical customers such as hospitals will be affected.
* We have no certainty or ability to predict duration or frequency of outages during this critical stage.
* Restoration efforts have been suspended until this emergency situation has improved.
* Please reduce your thermostats to a maximum of 62 degrees
Please take immediate action to reduce your load. We are trying to maintain the integrity of the grid and avoid a ERCOT-wide blackout.

Go to ERCOT's site, the load and demand aren't close to capacity right now. Is that an old message?

We’re in Katy too. Went 31 hours without. Came back on around 10am, off again a little after 6pm. At least, the house got warm. Several neighbors with busted pipes. Generator cranking again.
