Houston mayor Sly Turner in a bit of a Pickle.

Appears he got a young afro American male a city internship which paid him $95,000 a year with a two year contract and his own option to make it a permanent job when the 2 years were up. All this happening whilst firefighters and police are understaffed and having paycuts.
The real issue here is on camera twice recently Mayor sly denied knowing who this man (the intern) is. When confronted again yesterday he did admit he knew him. Also a recommendation letter for this man by the mayor himself has been discovered which helped him land the internship.
There are all sorts of speculations abounding about the nature of their relationship. Either way you slice it, mayor turner is being pounded by the press and finds himself squarely in a Pickle.

Having heard about this on Walton and Johnson in the morning, it's alleged the press isn't the only thing pounding him.

Sly is far enough left that his supporters would not care if there was video of him anally violating a two year old. And I am not kidding. The inner city left is that stupid and brainwashed.

Yeah I have been watching this. I assume this sort of stuff happens all the time but the fact that he denied knowing the guy when asked on Friday makes this fricked up to me. Especially when you consider him always saying they have no money for things like firefighters.

Depends on the position.
Some internships pay, just not a huge amount, as the point is to get work experience and possibly an in with the company.
I can’t think of an internship that pays nearly six figures.
