Why is this suspicious? Seems rather clear. Media and news outlets were incorrectly making assumptions based on numbers reported since they didn’t understand the data or didn’t have the entire picture. So they stopped reporting numbers.

Are you honestly trying to say you haven’t seen a single financial report on the hospitals losing money? They stopped doing outpatient and elective procedures for Covid in the spring and lost millions and had to lay off tons of staff.
If they have to save beds for Covid and stop elective procedures, hospitals lose money. It’s not a conspiracy it’s fact.
They weren’t positive about this before this spring, but now they know.

They need to fix their data. It's difficult to predict if they will run out of resources at hospitals to fight this if they are playing politics with it.
I've been bringing up the talking point that we've never been told of the false positive(false alarm) amount of cases with all the amount of testing performed.
There has been no talk of false positives with COVID testing at all. that's insane. False positives always occur in all testing performed on all different aspects/industrial practices of analytics across the country.
But none with COVID because these "frontline heroes" aren't making any mistakes and we should just believe that all their testing is 100% accurate.

The medical community lost so much money, it was staggering. People were scared to go to the doctor.
If case count necessitates a return of Stage 1, that’s very bad for the health systems.
So they want just enough restriction or social distancing to slow the spread rate but not enough to stop it or accelerate it.

They are apparently doing fine. When all this started my company was getting calls every day from hospitals needing supplies, nobody could keep up. But now we haven't heard a peep from Houston hospitals in probably two weeks.

Lots of large cities run their ICUs at 80~90% capacity all of the time.
What really matters is surge capacity, and they should have a plan at this point.

Texas has record new cases and younger peops are being hospitalized according to this article. Also says 47 deaths thursday was most since May 20.
