Hopefully no one has a serious emergency this weekend.

I wonder what these “staffing issues” could be?

It’s not about a lack of staff, it’s about an over abundance of politicians!

Obviously some had never heard the expression “be careful what you wish for”…

Damned Katrina evacuees

I imagine this would be budgetary reasons, but wouldn’t be surprised if it’s more optics-politics.
I suspect the command of Station 68 is going to be in some shite for this.

These guys whine and cry all the time, yet every time I go to HEB they have the full ladder truck with 6 baws grocery shopping for two hours, then they respond to a fender bender on the loop and close it down for 45 minutes while they chill in the shade of the same truck.
They’re never understaffed on Election Day when they’re lined up at the polls with signs whining at you to vote for them.

was there a vaccine mandate in houston?

Maybe, but I don’t see why anyone would want to be a public servant for $35k a year to get blasted by the media, over some thugs getting what they deserve.

Sounds like an invitation for mayhem.
