The same non threat who pistol whipped and robbed a completely innocent person? You think this is the first or last time this guy was going to do this? Definitely was his last thanks to the bystander

don’t think the hero is white. So he might be ok.
But he's Mexican.

He will probably get charged since the guy was running away. It’s bullshite but that’s how it goes.
I doubt after he pistol whipped a guy and this is in Texas.

Agreed. That and the robber posing no threat to anyone. Hopefully the investigation ends with "we just couldn't find any good leads."

Get real at no threat. He's nuts enough to do that he can't be trusted.

learn how laws work. You can't shoot someone who is fleeing. You also can't shoot someone because you think they did something at some point and especially not because you think they might do something at another point.
Even if the POS deserved it, that doesn't make it legal.

One has to question would she have the same opinion if she were the victim being pistol whipped and robbed

This thread is proof of why Lawyers exist. Please never attempt to represent yourself while in court.

Conundrum for her then with the shooter and the dead being minorities.

I’d like to know why garbage usually gets off scott free, but good people are punished. Like the marine in NY. This shooter should get an award for taking out the trash.

It's bullshite. Going soft on criminals just breeds more criminals.

Cartel. That’s why he left so quick.

Sprinting with a firearm in hand seconds after armed assault (pistol whip) and robbery. Not a threat to anyone?
Posted on 1/28/24 at 6:49 pm to MrSoul
That is why they call Greenspoint “gunspoint” and that Karen needs to have a crime committed against her.

Was he running at someone at the time of the shooting or running away?

Bro, I'm in no way defending this POS, but there are countless gun owners serving life in prison because they didn't know the laws about self defense (see Jerome Ersland).
On the surface, this seems like a bad shoot. I hope I'm wrong, but once the perp starts running away from the scene, he's no longer an immediate threat. We can't legally shoot someone because they might be a threat in the future.
Edit: I didn't know the perp was armed while running away. This probably changes things.

We have a lot of idiots on this board who just can't comprehend this.

I highly doubt it changes anything because of the "running away" part
