Hottest: United Arab Emirates 145 in August
Coldest: interior Alaska. -52 for cold weather testing.
Had a blast in both locations. Great memories. Guess I just like extreme stuff.

115 in Las Vegas during the summer last years. Walking through that concrete jungle was unbearable. felt like being in an oven
I said East Texas because we had to camp somewhere near Odessa and it was brutal being in direct sun most of the day, but I went to Vegas once in the middle of July and it was brutal as well.
We were at the Bellagio pool one day and it was hot... but obviously not in the pool. There was some rain moving through, it all of a sudden got dark from the clouds, the wind started blowing and I never experienced that big of a dip in temperature within a few minutes. Once those clouds blocked the sun, the temps shot down.

I have no idea what the actual temperature was but I always mark Lafourche Parish August 30th 2005 as the hottest day I can remember.

Hottest:
Late spring, some small town in southeast Louisiana — DeQuincy, if I remember correctly. Loading big-arse burlap sacks of sheep wool onto train container units. Miserably hot. I wanted to quit so bad. The two older guys who were hired with me did quit. My coach, who hired us, had to go find two guys in a bar to help me finish the job. I just couldn’t look Coach in the eye and tell him I was quitting. Or tell my parents I quit.
Coldest:
Gunstock Mountain in New Hampshire, on a snow lift. It was brutally cold. Every time we got on the lift, we’d say “it’s too cold, this is the last one.” Then we’d get to the bottom of the run and say “damn, that was good, let’s go again.”

Mesa, Arizona was hottest, although El Paso was bad on one trip.
Anchorage was pretty cold, but Cardrona Pass in New Zealand was colder during a major snow storm.

Shreveport for both. Came to Shreveport the summer of 22 for work and it was 117
Moved to Shreveport 2 years ago. Last years we missed the snow that south Louisiana got but it was 10 degrees here one morning.
Been to Vegas and Omaha here it was well 100 but the humidity was lower.

Hottest Houston in summer
Coldest Bergen, Norway or Halifax, Nova Scotia in January. Both places I realized if I had for some reason to stay out all night it would kill me.
