One of my podnuhs married a Moo State gal and they're happy together. I think it's because LSU usually beats them.
A major douchnozzle that I knew in high school married a bama chick and immediately flopped from LSU to Bama.
ETA: if you take college football so seriously that you couldn't marry a fan of an opposing team you've got some problems.

I married a Clemson girl. We do not discuss the 2019 National Championship game and we have too much orange in the house. They are worse than Tennessee as far as their use of orange. They will go full orange whiteout at random times.
She will root for LSU when there isn't a conflict. I secretly cheer against Clemson but don't let it show.

My wife was a Texas fan even though she went to TWU. I converted her to an LSU die hard after taking her to Death Valley a couple of times.

Some of my best friends are LSU, UT and AU fans.
Turns out people with an ounce of maturity can not just be around people who are slightly different but even shockingly have fun going to places that dont like your school.
I was down in Death Valley when Bama beat Burrow and when Daniels beat Bama in OT. Had a great time both trips.
Be a good person, have fun and team allegiances become a small part of you instead of a defining life characteristic.
