We have all heard of the hot to crazy ratio, but how hot does a girl have to be for you to date her if she is a fan of your rival sports team? For example, I have been seeing an IRL 7.4 and OT5 redhead. She is cool but she is a diehard Bama fan and I have an unhealthy hatred for all things Bama.

ETA: No pics and I am not letting the Bama fan interfere with dating her now. I am just curious what the board’s opinion is on how hot a woman has to be to date her if she is a fan of your rival.

Get over it. If Bama is the only thing wrong with her, and she doesn’t get depressed after losses and take it out on you, you need to grow up.

I don’t revolve my life around 18-20 year old kids playing a game. No factor whatsoever.

She got really mad after Bama lost in the final four.

My wife is an Aggy and I am an LSU fan/alum. It can be quite fun with the trash talk. We were dating before Aggy ever announced any SEC move so it was never a point of consideration for me.

Both kids are LSU fans for now too.

Edit: also helps I am not a hardcore LSU fan and she is for Aggy

I guess it depends on if they are a pretty hardcore fan or not.

I had a buddy (Bama fan) date this absolutely hardcore UGA fan. Every time Bama beat them she would treat him like an absolute dog because she couldn't handle losing. And he wasn't rubbing it in her face or anything either, she was just insane. Obviously they broke up eventually.

I have already done that. She actually loves it when I PIIHB. I guess that I am going to have to work on my Bama hatred.

Alabama and Ole Miss have some of the most beautiful women in the world on their campus so I would not mind it at all

Some people change after marriage. I wouldn’t risk getting shot after a loss.

Hardcore fans who are emotionally effected by kids winning or losing a game are weird people anyway. Casual shite talking is fine but real actual emotional investment is really weird.

As long as they are somewhere between a casual fan and a solid but good natured fan, it wouldn’t bother me. If we have to arrange our schedules around their games, that’s a bit tougher. If they are such an imbalanced fan that their losing causes them to melt down, start fights, etc, then that’s a hard no.
