#1 was El Yucateco but I’m sure that’s just pretentious hipster sauce

No, it's legit and the best for the money.

Grace, the original for the win. Heat, flavor, and not overpowering vinegar. It's from Jamaica.

It's not for pussies.

Marie Sharps Fiery Habanero Sauce from Belize

I do like Sharps.

Lately I'm on Secret Aardvark Habanero kick. It's awesome on pizza.

Still dig on Cholula too.

Of Mexican hot sauces, El Yucateco has more variety and quality than others.

Tapatio is the cheap Mexican hot sauce go to.

Second the Secret Aardvark for a more caribbean flavored hot sauce. It has the mustard flavor.

Of the more traditional hot sauces, Crystal is better than the others. I like Tabasco on some stuff, but it's too one note with the vinegary taste to be versatile.

My all time favorite hot sauce is Crystal Extra Hot

I love regular Crystal, but it was never hot enough, but the extra hot is perfect.

Louisiana is my fallback and I also love Cholula. It isn't very hot, but it has a great flavor.

I really like El Yucateco Mayan recipe Kutbil-ik de habanero sauce.
Also, Louisiana if I just get one of the above.

Tiger sauce is great to marinate chicken and pork chops. Silver Star in bossier marinates their chicken in tiger sauce fwiw.
