Clearly trying to downplay things.
We wouldn’t even be at that point yet now either way.
And hopefully we won’t.
fricking dumbass.

In Jefferson? What are the hospitalized cases like? How many on vents, how many just being monitored?

How does one downplay something by asking a question and having real front line healthcare workers...the heros in all this...state that it's basically all just business as usual??
Doesn't seem like the truth fits your fear mongering narrative very well. So sorry.

Memorial or Mountain View is my guess.

My hospital is showing the incompetence of numerous managers and administrators.

You’d be right if I still lived in NM

Just because you have a few stories of business as usual doesn’t mean shite. UMC and the VA in Nola are both complete shite shows right now. Bodies aren’t piled up in hallways but it’s faaaaaaar from business as usual.

In the last 3 days i have actually heard an overwhelming majority of "no big deal" stories of happenings in hospitals from LA County to UAB in Birmingham....I had a C Level Administrator in a major 2 State health system describe their almost constant disaster preparedness meetings as "Hurricane preparations mixed with CNN fake news". Made me laugh but pitiful at the same time.
Quit trying to make things worse than they are. The bottom is getting ready to fall out of your end of the world story...not our healthcare system.

A little over 100 being tested with reasonable suspicion, maybe occupying 40-50 beds, about 10 positive and half on vents.
Regardless what people think, resources are being stretched and those are beds being used. Not saying we’re in panic mode here, just the reality. Elective surgical cases are cancelled, but as a main center we’re still going to do our emergent and urgent cases that can’t be placed on hold. The same number of strokes and MIs, etc will continue to come and we’ll continue to treat them.
Reality is probably somewhere in the middle between no big deal to hysteria

Asking a question about a status that was not even claimed to have been in play at this point in the first place?
Yeah buddy you clearly have an agenda here. We’ll find it.
