Canada's two confirmed cases (I posted this on the other thread )
Check the Canada cases in Toronto. News story may have been misleading but both cases were confirmed Corona. The husband had been to Wuhan; the article I read did not say his wife had accompanied him. One newspaper says she did, with presumptive case now (Canadian word: presumptive)
Time to go check Toronto newspapers
Page 91 of Tiger Droppings' People are collapsing on Hunan streets. has live links
[link=(Wife also went to Wuhan according to Globe and Mail
LINK
Reuters says both went to and returned from Wuhan, wife has also tested positive although is asymptomatic and is quarantined at home.
(I Know that her neighbors are now delighted to know this./snark)

Which link is live? Looked but guess I missed it.

The links are live on the People collapsing thread (also in the OT Lounge)
I couldn't get the TD OT address to copy for a link, nor could I copy the thread content and paste it with live links. I really cocked up trying and previews showed me what a mess I was making, so I simplified and posted.
The different results depending on which website I went to for the Canada story showed me that the story line is fluid and what was reported two or three days ago is now added to. At least we are on the same side of the International Date Line.
Google News site isn't as up to date as it might be, but the good thing about it is that it clearly shows when stories were first published and well as the active links.
Re Canada, it will be interesting to see what the Tuesday papers present.

Honkus should be on the plane by now if he made it right?

I'm picturing car ride singalongs, roadside family photos, roads blocked with dead cattle and other half eaten animals, hordes of coronazombies attacking the car. You know, the usual.

I’ve just read through, currently, 38 pages of this thread. My heart has been in my throat for most of it. I pray for the safe travels and happy returns of the Honkus family. If there’s a go fund me set up please make sure it doesn’t get buried. I’m not an OT baller by any means but do have the capacity to pitch in.

Godspeed Honkus hope you land safely. And like some other posters IDK you other than your TD postings. And once again the power of the TD is impressive!

Still have internet access and your TD family can lift your spirits up.
What do your kids like? Maybe we can send them something to help the boredom.

Thanks baw! My lil man loves puzzles. Kid is a freaking savant. I think we're be able to get out to a toy store but we'll see how long we are gonna be there first. He has an iPad and YouTube premium to keep him busy for the time being tho.

How old?
Does he like LEGO? I’ve got a bunch of sets put up that I’ve bought over the years and dole out to my little boy for good behavior. Your son has been through a lot. I’m sure If my son understood he’d be happy to donate one for him.
