The power of the internet is truly amazing. Imagine trying to navigate this 25 years ago!

ETA: This thread has really done a great job of showing the character of the people behind the keyboard. (Also of who should burn in hell.)

thank you for this, btw.. the masks we have are KN-95. searched for but couldnt find a similar modification tutorial for a KN-95 mask, tho

That’s huge that you got the right masks. They are equivalent in particle filtration. The process to modify them would be the same as long as you don’t have a big piece of plastic in the middle.

Either way just make sure you feel that suction around your face when you inhale.

Be careful keeping anything over the infants face if you aren’t watching him. Those masks can decrease oxygen when worn for a long time.

Don’t touch your eyes or any mucous membranes.

Also, probably not a big risk but just to be safe set your car’s airflow to recirculate the air not draw air from the outside

Thanks bro, you've been great throughout this thread, even on things we might not totally agree on, I appreciate your perspective.

People who comment on news articles are more retarded than people who comment on news links on Facebook. Don't worry about that idiot.

Reason #1 why I willingly pay for the WSJ.

The only remaining national print paper that actually reports news.

Saw this article linked in r/china_flu:
Flight With U.S. Citizens Arriving From Wuhan, China Could Be Headed For Ontario Airport
quote:

The plane will first arrive in Alaska, where passengers will be screened by personnel from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention before continuing to the continental United States, possibly landing at ONT.

The county said any passenger exhibiting symptoms of an illness would not be allowed to enter the continental United States. Those who arrive would go through another round of screening by CDC personnel and would be monitored for up to two weeks.

The county said a number of departments were working together to establish a reception area and temporary living quarters in a space at ONT far removed from the passenger terminals and other public areas. Ontario police and other public safety personnel were said to be prepared to ensure no unauthorized persons entered or exited the area.

:kige:

I’ve gained respect for WSJ lately. They have had more original articles I want the past few years. Real journalists. Less typos.
