Why put domestic murder-suicide in the thread title based on FB assumptions?

Br in general wasn’t really a big city, still isn’t. It’s just since Katrina the Parrish has grown a shite load in population.

He really does know most of BR including the expats. Also why are people downvoting his post providing a factual response to an inquiry?

They're just mean to me. Buncha bullies.
I'm nice to to errybody.

I did do some stalking on the SOS site and the male in that household owns quite a few businesses in Baton Rouge, including several mortgage and lending businesses.

That could be nothing but it can also be a sign of shady business dealings and/or multiple failed business ventures.

the surrounding parishes have grown faster, especially LP and AP. They have both doubled in population since 2000. And that growth is associated with the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Area.

456,781 in 2020.

But you are right that there was a lot of growth in the Katrina decade.

I didn’t start the thread. There was an article or something that listed it that way, so maybe that’s why it was added to the subject line.

All of the EBRP population growth must be St George, Central and Zachary. BR proper hasn't really grown in 40 years

the number I got was from datacommons, not sure why the discrepancy

However, most cities had significant growth (except NOLA) in that decade

The only thing that's grown in BR is the divide between rich people and the dirt poor dregs of society as all the middle class has moved to LP and AP.

The population growth of Baton Rouge proper is flat.

[quote 1920 21,782 46.2%
1930 30,729 41.1%
1940 34,719 13.0%
1950 125,629 261.8%
1960 152,419 21.3%
1970 165,921 8.9%
1980 220,394 32.8%
1990 219,531 -0.4
2000 227,818 3.8%
2010 229,493 0.7%
2020 227,470 -0.9%[/quote]

The Parish

1940 88,415 29.6%
1950 158,236 79.0%
1960 230,058 45.4%
1970 285,167 24.0%
1980 366,191 28.4%
1990 380,105 3.8%
2000 412,852 8.6%
2010 440,171 6.6%
2020 456,781 3.8%

There was no Katrina bump of note.

How do you know?

This is a huge deal if not, and I'm sure the public would like some type of reassurance that they're not in danger. So bizarre.

Don’t ask him about what BR husbands are really doing when they say they are going to “Home Depot”
