Definitely somebody they knew well enough to identify easily, they were dead as soon as it started,the robbers had to kill them,and knew that going in.

I remember passing that house on Highland all the time when I was at LSU. As posters have stated in this thread, that part of Highland has the iffy apartments next to WalMarks. With that said there is no doubt that they were murdered by people who knew them. I'm sure BRPD know who the suspects are and will make the arrests soon.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but suspecting everyone is a hell of a way to go through life. But I guess it beats being murdered by the help.

You don't have to be supervigilant. Just lock what should be locked up, and have a pistol on you when furniture deliveries or roofers, etc. are around. Not a big deal really.

Its kind of like a second front door to the side of the porch. A little path goes from the driveway to that entrance. That's what I have always heard they were called, but Google isn't catching that reference.

Damn, those are iffy now? I lived there for two years during school. Nothing but college kids back then, certainly nothing I would consider iffy.

hearing they found the suspect....was a maintenance contractor for the couple that lived in one of their properties. Just saying what I heard.

5151 isn't iffy IMO. It's still alot of poor college students. 5116 is the shadier of the two as it was in the 90s.
