I'm surprised that haven't been found yet
White Chevy trucks are pretty common and if they took the license plate off/switched the plates, they might be pulling every one over. Remember the search for the white truck in the Baton Rouge serial killer (Derrick Todd Lee) case?

Have they said the race of the suspects?
Hammond police chief said it didn't matter and I can't tell from the sketch.

Serious question here because I'm naive on the subject..
Why is there a police sketch in this situation? or at least only a police sketch?
They must have surveillance video of the person. They know name and therefore most likely know everything about the person and could get a better visual representation of the person than a police sketch.
Is it something tied in with why they aren't releasing the name? They want you to know what he looks like without knowing EXACTLY what he looks like/what his name is?

i'm thinking that's the most obvious place to meet somebody not familiar with that area..the perps obviously don't care and don't seem too smart.it is also kind of en route to new orleans, where you know anything can be had or disposed of quickly and not noticed...i don't know but i hope they get caught and hanged high.

The police sketch posted a few pages back I think was meant as a joke.
It's from an old article from 2004.

I thought that might be the case considering the info quoted in the original post was the description of the car. Thanks.

It's at the intersection of I-55 and I-12 so it's en route to everywhere.

No doubt. I suspect they'll be caught before the end of the day.

Ah, I mussed your post earlier while I was typing out my post about the white truck & DTL.

True. I started to go back and edit to say that at least the car will be found by end of day. May take longer to locate the murderers.

The OP should take it down. It's causing confusion.

Brandon Scott Lavergne (Mickey Shunick's abductor/murderer) also drove a white pickup truck as video surveillance is what helped catch him .... he later burned his truck in East TX
