Ticketmaster is a friggen joke man. Apparently their entire system is now down. Been stuck in queue for the past 1.5 hours in the exact same spot. Anybody have any luck?

I bet you’d get through on another device.

Garth brooks wasn’t this bad. At least the queue was moving. Ticketmasters site is now completely down it seems.

Any word on what happened exactly? Heard they took it offline as not all codes were entered correctly.

And any of you asshats talking trash, you’d be doing the same thing if you had a daughter.

Ticketmaster also controls the secondary market via StubHub, so they’ll make their fees off the initial sale to scammers and bots, then make even more when they’re sold for an upcharge later (possibly multiple times).

The artists make nothing aside from the initial sale.

The Garth Ticketmaster queue was enough to put mama in the graveyard and papa in the pen.

Trying to get them for myself and wife. Queue has been "paused" for Nashville since the line opened up. Think I might just try secondary market if this doesn't move soon.

Congrats on being scammed by ticketmaster. They don't give a shite about stopping resellers. They only care about selling tickets.

Once upon a time there was a knife maker named Bob Loveless. He started out in the merchant marines when he made a single knife to copy one he saw in Field and Stream.

Many years later he couldn't make enough knives. Pretty much everything he made was sold before he made it. Some of his knives were selling for thousands of dollars. In fact, Bob developed a lottery type system that gave people the chance to by a ticket for $100 or so that, if they won the drawing, would give them a chance to buy a knife.

A secondary market quickly formed with his knives selling for tens of thousands of dollars. Bob kept his prices the same for a bit, though, with production models selling for a few hundred. What he saw happening, though, changed his mind on that approach. The drawings for a chance to buy one of his knives were usually held at knife shows. Bob would watch the drawing, see the person win, pay for the knife, and immediately sell the knife to another person for four or five times what he paid for it.

Mr. Loveless started wondering why he couldn't command that price for a knife if it was selling for those prices immediately after the drawing. So, he raised his prices, and kept raising them until the secondary market cooled a bit. His knives were by far the most expensive on the market, and he still sold every single one he could make.

Maybe, Ticketmaster should try the same approach. Do you think it would work?

Sitting in the queue myself now for my under 18 year old daughter (no need to ask you perverts).

This is frustrating on two parts, the wait/site being down and me going through this shite for taylor swift.

After the Garth concert someone stared a thread here that asked if there were any other artists that could sell out Tiger Stadium. My answer was Taylor Swift. Now you're seeing why

Taylor Swift wasn't that bad to get when she did Bayou Country Superfest and it wasn't a hard sell out either
