The flooding, the abandoned vehicles, the chemical plant on fire with the smoke going over the city, etc really hit me hard. I hid it at the time but broke down later that night. For everyone else it was just amazing to see the devastation. For me, seeing places I went to as a kid destroyed was entirely different. Something I won't ever forget so I guess I can understand her being upset.

When Hoda did the early morning news in NOLA, she rented near our place. Every morning around 10am, at least two hours after the news ended, she get back to her apartment after time at the gym. Every day. She worked hard at her craft and keeping her self in the body size that the media would hire.
