Ehh the arguments for them closing are stupid.
They basically stating supplies to make Ppe and supplies for school is why they are open.
Sounds good to me. But instead people just want to continue to funnel more people to the few supermarkets that have all cut their open hours? Yeah makes perfect fricking sense.
Please continue to go to overcrowded stores where you are most likely to spread or catch it.

My area of the business is on hyperdrive right now. Other areas have been halted, but my area + the CARES act loans/grants should keep us in really good shape for the foreseeable future.

Gotta hand it to them. It was pretty clever of them to make the 'we're staying open' feint and let the employees/public make the clamor for them to close. Now that they are, they can say, "we'll we were forced into it."

The Government forced their hands. Now their employees will get state unemployment PLUS $600 a week to NOT work. Why on earth would the employees need to use vacation or sick time?

Every “moral” or “religious” position Hobby Lobby takes seems to result in the denial or reduction of benefits to their employees. Look it up.

Doesn't that effect amount of Unemployment Compensation and Recovery Rebates they can receive (I haven't read through the emergency acts)?
It's there after furlough and there if they resign or furlough becomes layoffs. In mean time possibly no effect on emergency unemployment, same health insurance, and employer paying their share of premiums for health insurance, and when they return same date of hire and remaining PTO is available.

And they get to keep their sick time while getting paid by the Government that shut their employer down.
