Not only that but women value themselves WAY too highly due to every slapdick stroking their egos. It’s negatively affecting the development of other desirable traits.

Just spitballing here but a little over weight, weird goatee, kind of poor looking, and that was in the cropped out profile pic that’s at least 3 years old.

I’m looking at mine for reference

Well duh. But that’s in real life too. An average guy has to bring more intangibles to the table to attract a higher value woman.

Be funny, wealthy, powerful. Command people.

It’s just exacerbated with the tinder culture

Dammit so I probably shouldn’t even bother with Tinder then

The shotgun approach works. Social media and dating sites just make it that much easier to cast a wide net. I used to have whole conversation templates ready to cut and paste. Carefully crafted little word bombs designed to elicit specific emotions and reactions.

I’d ad lib a lot too but after you figure out what works it’s a lot easier than typing it out each time.

Sure you should. It’s practice. The more you put yourself out there, learn how to carry on an interesting conversation that draws a woman in, the better.

It might not always pan out but you are developing skills. Most importantly learning how to deal with rejection graciously. You have to absolutely not care and not let them have power over you.

And these skills will translate into real life when you meet women irl. You’ll be able to not come off as creepy or fake and be able to have a genuine interaction.

I can see this going the other way also. Girls don't value themselves because of easy access to the attention-seekers. Show a little self-respect and the dude swipes right to the next available tramp.

Man, i’ll Be 33 soon, and i’ve Seen and experienced way too much shite in my life so far, and at the same time nowhere near enough.

If I had known what I know now when I was young and fit...you have no clue how much tail I missed out on because I was either oblivious or too damn scared to risk failure.

It took being completely destroyed and rebuilding myself, took rejection and reflection to learn what I know, which ain’t much.

What I do know is this. Nothing sends women running more than the stink of desperation. What draws them in is not caring whether they want you or not. Be wherever you are because you want to be there, and cultivate a personality that draws people to your energy.

If you are a person that people want to be around, then women will find themselves pulled in that same draw.

No. It's one of the cringiest things I can think of. Almost as bad as the guys who like and comment on a girls Facebook post where she's obviously looking for attention

So sorta like this?

In all seriousness this does creep me out. I’m older and just glad I’m not in the dating/looking for a SO part of my life again.

True story.

Several years ago I met an NFL cheerleader at an outdoor concert who was actually on a first date with another guy at the time. We had one mutual friend in common who casually introduced us. I was loaded up on liquid courage, and she seemed to be (to drunk Norb) somewhat interested in me.

So, I took my shot. I figured what the hell? When am I going to get the chance to date an NFL cheerleader ever again?

Still buzzing after the concert at like 11PM on a Sunday, I sent her a decently witty Facebook DM asking for her digits. I woke up on Monday and spent the entire day at work agonizing about how stupid I was for doing that. I felt truly embarrassed.

BUT she actually responded at the end of the day (really made me sweat it out). And she gave me her digits and agreed to go on a date.

We went out for very short while. She broke my heart in two and has since married a rich older man.

But damn it was a fun short ride while it lasted.

Shoot your shot, gentlmen. Just remember that there is a fine line between witty and creepy.

Sorry. No pics. But why would I lie about it? She really hurt me in the end.

:kige:

I know I may be from the moon anymore but what / how do you date on Instagram or Tinder? Also, if WWF is a new hookup for the unhappy don't SO's figure it out after time?
