Specifically the European theatre.

Would Russia have been interested in Stopping Hitler from taking over Western Europe?

If Nazi Germany did take over all of Europe what would our relationship have been like with them?

We wouldn't have the Jews to blame anymore, and 9/11 probably wouldn't have happened.

Hard to believe hitler wouldn't have met a similar end. The guy had no end goal in mind, he wanted to conquer the entire world. There's no way he could have kept winning in perpetuity and no way he could have kept any allies.

How much damage he could have done before that is a question I'm not sure anyone can answer.

I think Germany attacked Russia before the US joined the war, so yes?

It's an interesting thing to ponder, but every possible scenario I come up with eventually draws us into it so it's impossible to really answer.

The “what if” hypotheticals from WWI are way more thought provoking imo

If the USA continues lend lease, I think the Soviets would eventually turn the tide in a long and brutal war and sweep across Europe by 1950. If the USA never does lend lease, I think the Germans beat the Russians and we see a sort of fortress Europa thing that collapses in on itself when Hitler dies.

Yeah, I'm just not as educated about WWI as I am about WWII.

Had an exam question in a German history class which simply asked, "At one point should Hitler have stopped?"

Recall I answered unequivocally that he was a megalomaniac and therefore he would have never stopped, but he should cashed in his chips after taking France so quickly.

I think he could've taken most of continental Europe almost up to Russia with little resistance. Going into mainland Russia and England was the mistake. Russia didn't even really much exception to Germany going into the Ukraine

Not possible. The war aims of the axis, particularly Japan, made conflict with the US 100% inevitable.

Germany would’ve taken over the North African oil fields and be much stronger when we did face them.

Nah, USSR would’ve eventually defeated Germany without our help. Would have just taken longer.
