They'll still flock there. Actually self esteem will be even lower.

Drop in "one day at a time" and a few other buzz words, you'll be shooting fish in a barrel.

People who don't drink save a shite ton of money overall vs your average boozer. Who cares if they want to blow 20 bucks on a shi-shi mocktail every now and then

To judge how awful these bars are I need to also know

1. Can you smoke inside or at minimum on a patio?

2. Will the bathroom attendant rat me out for doing blow in the stall if I tip him decently or be cool about it?

Their pitch sounds pretentious, but even as someone who enjoys a good cocktail, I've said for years that I didn't understand why the United States didn't have a better non-alcoholic beverage culture. This is a step in the right direction, and I hope it catches on.

Some people don’t like to drink, don’t like getting drunk, or don’t feel safe getting drunk in public. Some people feel awkward going to bars and not drinking alcohol. Some folks want the experience of going out in public in a setting designed for socializing without the expectation/social pressure to get drunk.

sober for over a decade. This is the dumbest shite i have ever heard of. Ice chest filled with coke, sprite, NA beer does the same thing.

Maybe it doesn't for them though. In the same way that when you drank, you probably only drank bourbon mixed with coke or sprite or beer. Some drinkers want a better made cocktail. Here, maybe these non-drinkers would like a crafted mocktail.
