What's your kid's school doing? I've heard that the Ascension Parish superintendent sent out an email basically saying it's ok for the kids to walk out so long as there is safety and order.

I remember being in high school and using sjw shite as an excuse to skip school. Couldn’t give a frick about the issues, just enjoyed protesting and finding way out of school work.

anyone who walks out of school should be punished accordingly, and I suspect most will.

It's also funny to think any of these protests are actually going to accomplish something.

These things are so stupid that they are not even worth discussing.

I bet they're for amnesty and open boarders also! I'm sure MS-13 will be very mindful of gun laws. Us citizens can just use kind words to deter any violence.

found what the ascension superintendent sent out:

quote:

we are aware of the national movement to encourage students to walk out of school on March 14th at 10:00 a.m. to bring attention to school safety and security as well as to remember and honor the lives lost in school violence. We want to honor our daily commitment to you as parents to ensure that quality educational experiences that align to progress toward year-end goals are protected. As such, please join us in encouraging your child to cooperate with their principals and teachers to ensure safety, order, and educational goals are not compromised on March 14th

It really is pretty dangerous to essentially "ok" the walk out on a parish wide basis.

That's a very vague message, I'm not sure if that is condoning the walkout or not. I know the Dutchtown High principal has said any kid that walks out is getting suspended

I've seen many letters around the internet from adminstrators to parents regarding these walkouts. Pretty much all of them are "ok" with the walkout, but make certain to mention that rules are still in place and will be followed. So sure kids can walk out if they want, but they'll still face any consequences for it.
