This was more than likely more about bullying than anything sexual. Kids can be so frickin mean and cruel. Some bully calling a quiet, weaker kid a queer... ends up with the bully doing something stupid in the bathroom. IMO

Does not help that schools can’t or won’t discipline them.
Christ, look at the story from Virginia where the 6 year old shot his teacher. The kid had previously choked out a different teacher and was suspected to have a gun but they only wanted his mom to pick him up rather than get the cops involved.
