Hey WBRZ and Pat Shingleton...

frick YOU!
Yea, no accumulations, just a light wintry mix north of BR with slight accumulations on grassy surfaces.
My regret is that I took this picture at 6:15am thinking surely it wouldn’t snow much more. I ended up with 6” on roof, grass, and cars. 3” stuck to the ROADS, I’m still out of power, and a tree fell onto my house due to the weight of all that non-accumulating snow.
Screw the entire “meteorology” department at WBRZ for their arrogance in the run up to this event. They ignored every weather model and for that I will never watch their newscasts ever again. My god did they bust their arse face first in the mud on this or what?

And you would have prevented any of that with a better forecast?

No, I’m just explaining how god awful their arrogant predictions turned out. arse.

Calm down son. He was using Orgeron's binder.

I'm not sure what's going on here, but I feel a strange obligation to tell you to kill yourself.

So if he predicted all that, those things wouldn't have happened?

what type of poverty tree falls down because of 3inches of snow accumulation?

What melted quicker? You or the snow?

Has a south Louisiana snow ever been predicted correctly?
It seems like hisorically they have all been a surprise.

Leading up to this snow event WBRZ forecasters and meteorologist boasted about how their weather apps and models actually had human input and wasn't a bunch of computer predictions, thus they had the best forecast for percentages of snow accumulation. They failed miserably.

To be fair, they don’t have much experience predicting winter weather patterns like this. I mean we get snow like this like once every 10 years.
Also, what Pat does with Pat’s Coats For Kids is a admirable cause.

Well, all the models had it days in advance. shite someone HERE had it a week or so out. WBRZ blew it. When EVERYTHING is pointing toward snow, the arrogance WBRZ displayed is stunning. Pat Shingleton and his team's gut feeling is every bit as impressive as Peej's.

Eh, frick him. One year he was pimping some meteor shower around this time of year. We stayed outside all night and didn't see shite. It was cold. COLD.
That motherfricker never mentioned in his segment that the peak was at like 4 am. He was just like 'go outside and take a look this evening!'.
He's a clownshow.

No, but WBRZ downplayed the shite out of this snow when every other network, expert, and major models ALL said the potential for at least 3” was there. All WBRZ said and kept repeating was that it was just gonna be a mix of sleet and “flurries” north of BR with very little to no accumulations.
Their arrogance just pissed me off like this because it reminded me of Pat Shingleton’s forecast of Harvey dissipating into Mexico just 12 hours before landfall when EVERY other expert was predicting it to do exactly what it did. They go out of their way to be the outlier.
