You edited your post and this is the result ? *After* editing your post two hours ago ? Is English not your first language ??

Sorry a combination of just waking up to take a dump at 2:30 in the morning and autocorrect created an embarrassing grammar snafu. I will take 10 lashes.

At least I didn’t fall asleep mid sentence but still managed to hit submit post. I can’t tell you how many times I wrote a post and fell asleep mid post.

When I quit drinking 7 years ago I picked up a nasty M&M's habit. I was eating a bag per day through the first year because my body was adjusting to no booze and those chocolate cravings went through the roof. Same as when I quit smoking, my soda consumption spiked like crazy.

I once wrote a post while drifting to sleep on Ambien .. that stuff is evil, but that post was pure comedy .

Most American chocolate sucks anyway because of the butyric acid produced during a process intended to extend the life of their milk, leaving the chocolate with a sour, vomit-like aftertaste.

So no matter whether they are using real chocolate or not, the end product is going to suck.

The candy company has announced that it will return to using “classic milk and dark chocolate recipes” in all its Reese’s and Hershey’s products by 2027.

Hmmm... I wondered why every Reese's product under the sun is on some kind of Amazon clearance sale.

Aldi is probably all fake crap.

I've got their Dark Chocolate covered Almonds in front of me. Ingredients: Dark Chocolate, Almonds, Dextrin, Confectioner's glaze.

For a snack food, I'd say that's far from 'crap'. It's one of the few things that I actually eat less of than the label 'serving size' - they list as 7 pieces, I find them so satisfying, that 3 or 4 is good for a snack.

Well, it's dried up bug juice of course (35% shellac). Doesn't bother me, it's small quantities, and many 'natural' food sources include stuff like that.

Could they call it something else?

I makes me think of something else.

That's bold of Hershey's to not use real chocolate considering you know, they're a fricking chocolate company. Do they just use their feces instead?

This thread triggered a childhood memory i had forgotten about. We used to put magic shell in ice trays, then spoon in nutty peanut butter, and then cover it with more magic shell and stick it in the freezer a few minutes.

Those were the best "reeses" ever because we had an endless supply. Completely forgot about that. Good memories.
