Not sure about the cheer part. According to mom's on the team, her parents never went to competitions and her last few months of tuition were paid by other parents.

Again, I'm not saying I know anything to be true - I make these statements to show nobody knows.

And for those of you who are turning this into a political or societal issue - F U - a 12'year old girl was in so much pain that she decided to hang herself. She hung herself from her bunk bed. Her bunk bed. Let that sink in.

I was bullied as a kid. Yes the kids are shite heads, but the biggest problem was teachers and admin seeing what was going on and not doing anything. I was eleven years old, and nowadays your told if you fight back you'll get in trouble too.

I stay attentive to my kids...I know who they are talking to and how much...I also talk about their day with them...every afternoon...I have had situations come up where I called out teachers and admins for not doing their job...we are in a public school system...I pay taxes every year...those motherfrickers work for me.

about the difference in now and back then....if you let your kid get that wrapped up in social media...it is the parentals fault...and if you fight with your spouse so much that you aren't noticing everything going on with your kids...that is also your fault...I blame the parents and any other adult who didn't see the signs or pay enough attention to this little girl...frick em.
