My gripe with Musk is that he over promises and under delivers. My gripe with Tesla is that it is grossly overvalued as a company.

Like I said, it doesn't really matter to me if you or your friend are fanboys or not. The label as applied to a particular person is irrelevant to the points being discussed.

Because it sounds like you are using your perception of the politics of one poster to dismiss a list of real and very valid concerns over Musk and Tesla's value in the face of increased competition from larger, more established companies. - neither of which you acknowledge.

So how did a letharic old Detroit company beat Tesla to the affordable EV market? Do you acknowledge that the Bolt was launched well before the Tesla 3? Do you acknowledge that nearly every luxury manufacturer has both an EV and autonomous technology on the market right now? Do circumstances around the Model 3's botched launch not concern you at all?
If so, then why should I still consider Tesla a disruptive company?

Can you explain how I'm refusing to acknowledge Tesla's issues with production delays despite that fact that I've stated happens probably 10+ times in THIS thread alone?

They do make more than cars.
Whether that’s really disruptive or not seems subjective to me, but they are not only a car company and perhaps that’s at least a part of the reason for their valuation despite the recent setbacks on the automotive side.
