This.

To me, this is a second or even third vehicle. I’d drive it on the weekends or just around town to run errands or for recreation to throw shite in the bed

Personally I love it

They will sell TONS of these.

The customizations will be enormous, and the electric window module will rock. All the Majors are working weekends trying to duplicate it with more candy and style at a slightly higher price point.

Pickup sales have cratered this year, and luxury packages (Denali, SLT, LT, etc) are now only 2.5 in 10 trucks. Bread and butter ICE powertrains are all in trouble already.

If this thing is any good at all...it will change the game as much as Tesla did.

Electric HiLux anyone?

Almost every OT thread involving trucks ends up going - Trucks are ridiculously expensive. Automakers would making a killing if they made X small pick up truck - insert pic of 90s ford ranger, toyota . And then some thread gets posted about a small pick up truck that some company is developing and the OT reams the truck and says I'll never drive that little POS.

This looks like a great option for an urban delivery truck (assuming your truck doesn’t run all day). Would be easy to park in city. Like an electric maverick but cheaper.

If its reasonably priced, an all black one just for shorter drives makes sense.

was prepared to not like it given the cyber"truck" but this actually looks pretty sweet.
only thing is the video said it would start at $25k. at that point you might as well get into a midsize ICE pickup. could be the maverick killer, though, with that 6' bed.
if i lived in a bigger city id probably think about it.

I don’t think you can get a midsize pick up for 25

I'm 6'5", so as long as I can comfortably sit in it for periods long enough to get me to the hardware store or the beach and they have an option for a longer bed I would buy one.

Enjoy the 0-60 in 8 seconds and 1,000 lb tow capacity. But you can accessorize it...

That SUV version looks a lot like an old Bronco 2. I would drive it.
