After using the new format for a couple days I think my only legit gripe is not having the pages next to the threads like we used to have. Used that feature quite a bit so its throwing me off not having it. Still not a fan of losing sig images/text but over all its something I could get used to.

That one sucks. I use those to find the hot topics and can click on the last one to keep current. Without them on the front page, I have to click the topic, THEN click to get to the last. Adds a click. Which is fine if that's the objective, but lame nonetheless.

For last page I just usually click or tap where it lists time of last post & poster in the topic and then scroll up. The page listing did help show a large topic and easier to start where you left off, but I have used mobile exclusively for so long this change doesn’t affect me.

The caveat is that if you jump to the end of a long thread for whatever reason, that becomes your last page read...not sure how many of you jump around like that.
It will likely be a feature that you can turn on/off.

I don’t mind dark mode, maybe allow us to set it up to switch to dark mode at a certain time and back?

Might be an option to use your device setting for dark mode.
