can you also fix the picture posting issues?
pictures posted from phones often doesnt show when looking at the site from a PC.
i have tried to report this to you several times but no one seems to care about it since its most likely a coding issue
im using windows 10 with MS edge browser if it matters

Phone yes, but the site stays regular mode unless I switch it to dark mode manually.

Not sure I understand. pictures posted from phones? Some pictures on the forums don't load for you?

Yes for beta its always on/off for the device. We likely will have a setting that auto turns on/off TD dark mode based on your device goes into dark mode.

no, i am on a home PC.
its not that they arent loading, they arent showing at all. if it doesnt load, i usually can see the thing where it shows something didnt load, but that is not what i am talking about is happening.
this has been going on for a whole year at least by now. i just get used to seeing blank posts that are supposed to show a picture.
when pictures get posted from peoples phones, all i see is the text and then a blank space with no picture showing.
the only constant is, its pictures posted from phones so there is an issue converting phone pictures to work on a PC

The pictures are stored somewhere on the internet. Shouldnt matter if they were from a phone. Can you post an example next time?

well i dont know much about all that, but im on a PC so i assume its got be something in a coding error preventing it from showing

I hate to say it to you, but it is likely an issue on your end…either with your browser, your computer, or the network that you're on.

windows 10
microsoft edge browser
this computer has i7 with 32gm ram
there are no network or computer issues, of that i am certain
i wouldnt think edge could have issues with this site

i wish i knew but its weird
i have no issues with anything else, and i see everyone elses pictures on here in replies to the first post, so i just assumed it was a cheap andriod phone with sketchy coding or something causing it.
if im the only one then so be it. i have gotten used to it.
its not like all the time, its random, i might see one no-pic a day at most when it does happen so i assumed it was on the posting side of it
i was also thinking it could be a paywall issue where you got to be signed in to see it

Have you tried another browser to see if you get the same issue?
It could be some blocking or safe browsing setting in your browser

Does that computer have Internet Explorer or can you download Chrome? I'm curious to see if you have the issue with other browsers.

what happens is, once and a while, i open a thread and the picture doesnt show from the OP.
i see any pics from any other post in that thread but not the OP pic.
like i said, its weird.
a typical week i might have this happen 2-3 times only and the only common connection is its only the OP pic that doesnt show

The same thing happens to me. I'm on a new HP laptop and I was using Chrome. An easy example is the Bring Us Your Favorite Memes thread. Probably 95% of the memes show but there are a few blank posts in there.
And naturally...I go to the thread in my bookmarks to pull an example and everything from the last 5 pages is showing. Smh. But I'm also on Brave now too so Idk.
