Is it normal for grandparents to pick their name??
I never heard of this until we had our son.
My MIL wanted to be called Geaux-Ma, which was quickly vetoed and my son calls her Grandma like a normal child.

One of my friends had his grandkids call him Peepaw. He was old 82nd, so he could be called whatever he wanted.
