Seems like you knew it was a mistake when the listing was made. Clearly you did not want the furniture for the actual price or you would not be here. They gave you your money back and you got a free stool. Please explain what your damages are?

You realize that every picture except the first is of the stool right? I'm assuming that's the stool they mailed to you?
I'm sure they told you to keep it because it cost more for them to pay to send it back, restock, and resell then it is worth. I've had that happen on Wayfair before. We ordered two cloth chairs for our living room from them and one came in damaged freaking twice. They sent us a new chair twice and told us to keep the first one. So we ended up with 4 chairs. They were just rips about 3-4 inches long on the arms where the packing was poor and they were damaged in transport most likely.

I am banned from walmart.com....seriously.
I ordered a few hundred worth of video games and a expensive mountain bike for christmas. A few days later I was told the bike was out of stock and I would be refunded in 2-3 weeks.
2-3 weeks... WTF?? Walmart customer service told me it was paypals policy not theirs that would delay the refund. Knowing that was bullshite I filed a paypal dispute and the same day all the games came in the mail paypal refunded the full amount for the bike, games and shipping.
Next time I tried to order something from them it would not let me.

Walmart has the worst customer service and they don’t give a shite if you threaten to “never shop their again.”
They will offer you a refund if you don’t want the product shipped and nothing more. Possibly a 10-20% off coupon for your next online order. Nothing more.

Crazy you started this thread. I bought the same exact set for the same exact price and get mine delivered the day before yesterday. Its a really nice setup and I can’t believe I was able to snag it for that price. Yes I’d raise hell if I were you. No I never got an email from anyone at Walmart. Best of luck
