That name is Isaac again this year. Guess it wasn't retired after 2012. That's going to cause some bad deja vu for people in the River Parishes.

Yall don’t even get the good stories I only tell those in person.

I could write a book that Martin Scorsese could make a great movie out of

Or do you have a copy of Gray’s Weather Almanac 2000-2050 edition with all major model runs? Although it may need to be an encyclopedia volume set or stored on some sort of new quantum drive with that may pictures and animations.

Damn, you figured out how this blind squirrel found a nut

To highlight the fact that nothing has a handle on this:
At the same time the GFS has the storm deteriorating just after landfall, the Euro still has the system struggling in the Bay of Canned Peaches. And at the same time of the GFS landfall, the EuroAI has the center of the system up around Lexington, KY with the storm having made landfall a day and a half earlier around PCB.

I'm in Fairhope and that 6Z GFS run is giving me Sally vibes with it deepening upon approach as it crawls north into mouth of Mobile Bay. Sally strengthened down to 965 mb as it made landfall in Gulf Shores. This run has it bottoming out just offshore at 962mb and then weakening slightly to 968mb at landfall on Dauphin Island but concerned that it holds at 962 mb or even deepens slightly as it makes landfall because the upper level environment and the weak steering (on the 6Z run at least) is very similar to the environment around Sally when it kept deepening until it made landfall. If this run of the GFS played out I think we're looking at a slow moving low end Cat 3 (115 mph) at landfall.

Don't want any part of that here in Fairhope where I'll be in the eastern eyewall the whole time according the the 6Z GFS

I wouldn't put any stock into any run over another right now when the only thing that exists is a few thunderstorms and cloudy skies.

That’s what I thought as soon as I saw that run.

Good point. The GFS has been all over the place from one run to the next. The 0Z run had a run of the mill tropical storm hitting the MS/AL border on Friday and the 12Z yesterday had a Cat 4 hitting Tampa Bay. Until there's an actual invest or a depression forms the models are going to be all over the place

Only thing I'm putting stock into is that cool front at the end of next week
