Am I the only one who thinks a NHC's kindergarten age child put this together?

There was a car that just came across that bridge on the live stream
I was curious if anyone saw that. I can't believe anyone is trying to go over the Howard Franklin Bridge right now. I can truly saw I've never seen the water like that in Tampa Bay, getting to the point of overtopping the Howard Franklin Bridge. That was genuinely starting to give me Katrina vibes with that surge.

How bad y’all think Panama City we’ll get from this?
Basically nothing outside of this moderate rain and marginal tropical depression force gusts

New advisory, winds down to 120 mph

Does the shift east bring Jacksonville more into the bad stuff?
Seems like the Westside and areas out in Clay/Baker counties are gonna get some shite. I have friends in Live Oak and Macclenny out west of the city that will likely get sustained hurricane winds. Here at the beach, it should be just trop storm. City of Jacksonville is like 40 miles across.

That SA Midnight Pass cam just had someone in a Tesla truck......not sure how long that will survive that salt water.

seeing speculation it’s a typo and should be 130 mph
recon is in the storm right now, so it will get figured out one way or another

Helene is going to make landfall within 50 miles, a few hours, and 25ish mph difference of where the very first cone and forecast suggested.
Pick your fricking battles better.

Surge is gonna be insane in the bend

Has to be a typo. It’s stronger now than it was when recon left.
I guess Jim Rockford gets the win he’s been so desperately hoping for in this thread.
