I can understand that. And frankly, I'm usually too concerned with keeping a toddler occupied and quiet to lean back in the first place.

failure to do so is a felony by the way, the second felony committed after the toddler is brought onto the airplane

I guess it's just another sign that your happiness on a flight is damn near none of my concern.

I've never understood the need to recline your seat 2 degrees. When I first heard about this I was on the guy's side. I feel like I'd be more uncomfortable knowing I've messed with the space of the person behind me than I would being upright. Then I read here that they were banned. Now he's out of line. But what a bitch to throw water.

I flew first class recently for the first time. The bells and whistles were stupid and useless. But not having to worry about that type of BS was nice. Very nice .

Frick that. I always will get the economy if available because I'm 6'5" but it's still not always enough when people in front of you want to be a dick. I pay the extra for economy but sorry I can't afford first class all the time. I think society just needs to have a little respect people who are a little taller trying to at least pay to give themselves a little room.

A little decline is needed. Sitting straight up blows

That guy is a hero. If I ever have to fly bitch (middle seat) for work, my legs ae so long the person in front of me cannot recline without banging my knees. I am at the point I will use my own airline miles to get exit row seating for work flights where they won't pay for my upgrades.

Why not just trade seats?

If work is paying for the flight (most of my flights), I'm paying to upgrade to first class out of my pocket. Most of my flight are NOLA to Houston or Dallas, so it's only like 60 bucks to upgrade. Screw taking the chance of sitting next to inconsiderate assholes who can't sit up straight for a few hours.

I could of used one on SWA the other day.

Fat-arse in front came back hard when he reclined and spilled my coke and whiskey all over me.
I loud capped him, but not much else you can do.
I wish I had those seat blockers.
After flying first class to EWR for the first time, I don't think I can go back to SWA>

Yep. They're not very functional and I'm always amazed by the people who just slam their seats back as far as they go, with zero awareness of people behind them.

they don't go back far enough to be comfortable. They honestly don't bother me going back, as long as they check or ask first.

Don't slam back the second after I get drink service.
At least I got a second drink for free.

IDK I kind of like being served drinks BEFORE the other passengers are allowed on. Then having them watch as you drink liquor out of a full sized cup.

I got supper lucky. I only paid $203 for MSY to CLT to EWR first class.
