Last booster I had was in 2021. Around the same time Trump, my president emeritus, was touting it

Probably had COVID since then but COVID is a lil bitch

Are you honestly saying you need me to explain to you who has been driving the state accepted narrative in COVID since the beginning? You can’t be that stupid.

It seems like you couldn’t find a single doctor that didn’t beleive the lockdowns were correct, did beleive in natural immunity, did think it came from a lab leak, and also believe the covid vaccine isn’t dangerous

Those docs are everywhere. The “them” in your scenario are batshit insane people. You should ignore them

So you’re just going to sit there and pretend those doctors who didn’t accept the gospel of Fauci were not censored and banished from the public sphere for speaking out?

Ok, point granted to you on percentages

Thanks

To your other points, if we really want to know the answer to this question, the populations being studied should be vaccinated. Or even better, simply trace the heart attack deaths to vaccination status.

Either way, if some refuse to accept the premise that the vaccine could cause heart attacks, statistics aren’t going to convince them otherwise.

People refused to believe covid caused myocarditis. We can go re-read those threads….

The over arching theme is both covid nor the vaccine has any material effect on death

The ignorance comes from both sides. I mean the OP is very much a “vaccine causes everything bad” poster, yet he links a study that actually highlights covid as the cause of increase. How lazy is that?

But one would think if it was the vaccine, the young age group would have the lowest rate of rise since they are the least vaccinated, not the highest rate of rise

the vaccine affects this age group the most.

Covid is a respiratory illness. I mean cardiovascular. I mean flu like. You know what I mean.

No kidding! I caught that mess in early 2020 right when it hit the country and so did one of my coworkers. Both of us got over it, but it left me with a viral heart disease that’s permanent and my coworkers lungs are still messed up. Others are reporting issues such as the inability to think as good, severe fatigue, etc. I went to the Mayo Clinic for a 3rd opinion as a precautionary measure. That’s one of the best hospitals on the planet and the team of doctors that ran a plethora of test on me specifically said Covid is a virus that still to this day they don’t know all that much about. The entire planet that got really sick from that virus are a bunch of lab rats. No telling what the long term lasting issues this mess has caused. Heart disease, respiratory illness, who the hell knows what it did to those like myself that truly got very sick from it. Thanks China!

Heart attack rates eh and flow. A 30% rise in this age group over a 3 year period is in no way unheard of

OK, I'm not a Cardiologist or anything but a 30% increase seems like a major red flag, not a normal ebb and flow. Human biology doesn't work that way. There could be other explanations - like 30% more people decided to sit on a couch, binge Netflix and cram junk food into their mouth instead of going out and being active. But something is up.

There's a reason all drugs go through clinical trials and comprehensive statistical analysis of their safety and efficacy. And using baseline percentages is how they do this - it's a math game as much as it is chemistry. The drug manufactures can't just waltz into the FDA and say, "sure 20% of the patients who took this drug developed renal failure but sometimes mother nature gives you lemons, right?"

It’s actually agencies of the federal government that develop policies and guidelines for Covid responses such as the CDC. We know that the FBI acted as the arbiter of “misinformation” on social media. Dept of Energy now says it was a lab leak.

So yes, these people might be batshit (interesting choice of words) crazy, but they have influence.

The primary issue is that people do not like being lied to or mislead, and do not trust people or entities that do so. Definitive claims were made, sides were taken. The president of the United States claimed the unvaccinated were causing this pandemic. Tried to mandate they be taken. We know there was no need for it. Revisionist history may work on people 50-100 years from now, but the people are that didn’t believe the lies then will not believe them now.

You may not like it, but all of the bullshite surrounding Covid has given rise to major distrust in the federal government because they were flat out wrong and attempted to force lifestyle changes over it.

The only shot at reconciliation here is for the provax (admittedly lazy term) camp to extend the olive branch to the ones that didn’t blindly trust the guidance. By and large, they were the ones that were right, which can be proven by current policy.

Why?

Hypothetically, if let's say 1% of each age group was harmed, it would be the group with the lowest rate to start with whose rate would rise the most.

Facebook has banned 3,000 accounts for COVID-19 and vaccine misinformation

It removed more than 20 million individual posts since the start of the pandemic last year.

Washington Medical Board Charges Doctor for Spreading COVID Misinformation

California Approves Bill to Punish Doctors Who Spread False Information

Twitter suspends US Virologist after claims over Pfizer vaccine

And you know I could go on and on. Anyone for the first two years of this thing who did not preach the gospel of Fauci, did so at the risk of being banned from social media or even lose their livelihood. The fact you pretend this didn’t happen only makes you look like a complete arse.

Yep... definitely wasn't the experimental vaccine they forced on people
