I am happy for Commander Data, and glad people were able to help him.
I hope it was legit because people gave out of the kindness of their hearts and I hate anyone who takes advantage of people like that. However, when I last read the thread last night there were a lot of questions about its legitimacy. Then, this thread pops up.

It doesn't seem like it's fake. There were questions when he didn't show back up yesterday.
And the posts today didn't help matters since he seemed out of it (then again he said he went to the ER last night so who knows).
I hope he can get his head right and be there for his children.
And this is probably the best move for TD; no more GFMs without verification info. TD has shown that it has a big group of great people willing to help which could make it a target for fraud.
