The Joe Burrow food bank was legit and so was the Assumption College fundraiser
I'm leery about anything else

I also hope that the DATA request wasn’t a scam, lots of folks seemed sincere in wanting to help. But I have been hit up by so many down and outters in the past 3-4 years that when I read something like that, I’ve become automatically suspect.
I mean it sounded real close to stories that guys that walk up to you while you’re pumping gas and give you a hard luck, my wife and kids are right down the street in our car where it ran out of gas and we were driving from Dallas to Jackson for a family members funeral, I’ve been out of work 3 months and had to wire what little money I had to help them with funeral expenses, could you “FIND IT IN YOUR HEART” to help us out so my kids aren’t stranded on the side of the road.

Was the GoFundMe from yesterday fake?

I don't believe it was fake as far as the wife passing away suddenly. I looked her up on Facebook and her sister posted about her death as did some other family members. Looks like there will be an autopsy to figure out what happened.

What we can't verify is how the money will be used or if he really doesn't have the money for the funeral. I tend to believe him, but he may have some extra left over and hopefully, he uses that to care for the children.

Sadly, this is the smartest and best move for the site IMO. Which I assume means it came from CC obviously

Looks like your name and address just got removed from the jelly of the month club.

I'd like to start a venmo campaign to put a tigerdroppings bumper sticker on the welcome sign of every state.

6500 miles. I'll do it for 2500 bucks

If you do that I bet chicken would send you a free trucker hat.

It does give me hope that there are many people out there that open their hearts (and pocketbooks) to help out others without question...pretty damn cool.

Can you make a temporary exemption and allow a GFM for Eric Zappe to recover his $1,500?
