This is the best thing to do. There are a lot of good people on this site who are willing to help others when they are down and that's awesome, but unfortunately people will always end up taking advantage of it.

I am not saying that Data guy was a scammer, I believe its possible his wife died, but he was in a very bad place and there is no telling what he would do with the money, but as for as the board. If you allow one then that leaves the door open for more and more. And being close to Christmas, people who can are more willing to give and people will take advantage of it.

Chicken, a post with a subject that begins "Hear ye, hear ye . . ." should not end with "I will say no more. . ."

Check with your O-T counsel who I think would agree with me that it should end as many affidavits conclude, i.e. "Furthermore I sayeth not."

Just a suggestion.

That quote is taken out of context. But it's difficult to argue with the sentiment.

Yeah that Commander Data dude’s story reminds me of a lot of my family on my moms side we don’t associate with. My one cousin had her mom come down with cancer and die in a month. Mom and daughter were both part time junkies. Gave a serious put on about paying the burial and I think she really meant it. Raised like $15k. Later we find out she stuffed the funeral home some way and blew the money in a relapse of some sorts. As usual, had a story of why but fact is didn’t use it for it’s purpose. Also spent money set aside for her son for bills not paid because she wasn’t working due to being an unstable junky.

I didn’t keep up with all of that dudes story you baws been dealing with but it looked similar.

I know you're working hard. You've come a long way.

Don't worry about the fast ball. As we age the trickery of the change up and slider work just fine.

Sounds like a no and yes answer based on what i read. An unstable person asked for help. Probably won’t use it to help themselves
